Academic Support Cell — SFI CET Unit
The Academic Support Cell is a student-led initiative by the Students' Federation of India (SFI), College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) Unit. Built on the motto "Educate. Agitate. Organise.", it serves as a centralized digital hub designed to support every CETian across academics, career, and student welfare — completely free of cost.
What the Platform Offers:
- Academics — Curated notes, previous year question papers (PYQs), and lab guides organized by department and semester, verified by top-performing students.
- Career & Skill Development — Resources for skill-building, internship opportunities, and professional SOP formatting templates tailored for CET students.
- Scholarships — A centralized database of local, state, and national financial aid opportunities with updated deadlines.
- Student Support / Grievance Portal — A space for students to submit grievances and connect with union representatives for peer assistance.
- Utility Tools — Internal CGPA calculators, attendance trackers, and links to official university portals.
- Contribute — Students can upload their own notes and internship experiences to help peers.
What Makes It Unique:
The platform was built by CET students, for CET students — with zero barriers, no paywalls, and no sign-ups required. It replaces scattered WhatsApp forwards and Google Drive links with a clean, organized, and continuously updated resource hub.
The Academic Support Cell is one of several sub-committees under SFI CET Unit, alongside Samskara CET (cultural wing), Vidhyarthini CET (gender justice), Velicham CET (social outreach), Scholarship Cell, Blood Cell, and more — all working together toward a progressive, student-centered campus community.
